Wendy has always been drawn into painting, her interest in Art changed dramatically twenty years ago, when she became involved in the use of art therapy working with young people with educational needs.

 In 2013 Wendy exhibited successfully for the first time, and has continued to do so. She particularly enjoys showing her work in an environment where she is able to meet the public and discuss aspects of not only her work but art in general.

Wendy's work captures the world around us, family, friends, nature, scenery – she loves being able to put what she sees and feels onto paper or canvas, and watching a picture evolve.

Growing as an artist is very exciting. She loves bold colours, and the natural world always inspires her. With this in mind Wendy has ventured into looser, abstract and mixed media styles.
